QHR Client Hospital Executives Honored for Achievement

Brentwood, Tenn. (June 12, 2014)-- Quorum Health Resources (QHR) announced the winners of the 2014 Excellence in Leadership awards at its Annual Leadership Conference on June 4, 2014 in Nashville, Tenn. QHR client hospital Littleton Regional Healthcare (Littleton, NH) and Crawford Memorial Hospital (Robinson, IL) received the awards for Best Overall Performance for a Critical Access Hospital.
Warren West, CEO at LRH was present when the award was announced. West stated, "Running a hospital in today's world is a team sport. We are extremely grateful to everyone on the LRH team for their role in helping make this recognition happen."
"Littleton Regional Healthcare earned its place on H&HN's "2013 Most Wired Hospitals" and was one of the "25 Most Wired Small and Rural Hospitals" in the nation," said QHR President and CEO James L. Horrar. The hospital also increased admissions by six percent, grew operating room volume by 24 percent, increased net revenue by 10 percent, increased cash position by 14 percent and decreased gross days in AR from 42 days to 49 days. Littleton opened its new 3,200 square foot oncology, hematology and infusion center and the urology center. Finally, this award includes accomplishments in areas of quality, operations and financial indicators.
