LRH Charitable Foundation Receives Gift to Support Breast Care
November 9, 2015
Littleton, NH - Kristen Weir, owner of Fresh Salon and Day Spa presented a $5,600 check to Warren West, CEO and Gail Clark, Director of Marketing and Community Relations in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. All of the money raised is readily available for women who could not otherwise be able to afford a mammogram.
Warren West, CEO at LRH; Gail Clark, Director of Marketing & Community Relations receive a donation from Kristen Weir, Owner of Fresh Salon & Day Spa in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Kristen Weir and her staff attend the LRH Health Rocks Wellness fair annually to provide "pink hair" extensions to guests and LRH staff. All of the money raised supports this very important initiative. Kristen and her Fresh Salon Day Spa staff also visit Littleton Coin Company annually to provide "pink hair" extensions to staff. Littleton Coin Company is the biggest supporter of this initiative. Each year they provide support to pay for half of the cost for the hair extensions, and they match the funds raised by Kristen and her team.
"Fresh Salon and Day Spa enjoys reaching out to area businesses and individuals in October and throughout the year to offer hair extensions in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds from the hair extensions support breast cancer care and awareness at Littleton Regional Healthcare. This support is important to me and my staff because we all have friends and family who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and we know the importance of having resources available to help during this critical time," stated Kristen Weir, Owner of Fresh Salon and Day Spa.
