In the Spirit of the Season

December 22, 2015

Moms from Littleton and Bethlehem who work hard to home school their children include community service in their curriculum to provide examples of acts of kindness that can make someone's day visited Littleton Regional Healthcare. Cathy Cote, Heather Rochefort and Angel Anan visited with Kids of Kindness Everywhere, a group of young children ranging in age from 6 to 13. The children prepared get well gifts for patients at LRH. Each patient received a plastic jar decorated like a prescription jar full of prayers and get well wishes that the students took from the bible. Patients were presented with the gift and instructed by the children to read one if they were having a bad day. The verses and prayers are intended to make them feel well again. Patients and their families were grateful for this act of kindness and a visit from the group of children, especially during the holiday season.
