LRH Auxiliary Awards $15,000 in Scholarships

Littleton, NH - Littleton Regional Hospital's Auxiliary awarded $15,000 toward 14 scholarships to 12 LRH employees and 2 high school seniors from Profile High School and White Mountain Regional High School. All of the individuals receiving a scholarship are working to further their education in the healthcare field.
Each year the LRH Auxiliary supports the efforts of health care providers or those entering or returning to school to further their health care careers by providing scholarships. All of the money provided is raised through various fundraisers organized through efforts of the Hospital's Auxiliary, and through proceeds from the Moose Ledge Gift Shop located at LRH.
The Auxiliary awarded scholarships to LRH employees included Keri Lyn Boynton, CMA; Kersten Lee Briggs, RN-OB, CLC; Morgan Katherine Brown, LNA; Marla F. Casella, RNC-OB, IBCLC, C-EFM; Olivia Rose Chartier, LNA; Katrina Colby, RN, BSN, OCN; Sabrina J. Coleman, LNA; William K. Demers, RN; Dorothy H. Horne, LNA; Britney Lee Lane, RN; Keri Parks Mellett, RN; Ashley Winne Mundell, LNA. High school seniors from who received scholarships include Cayln E. Brown from Profile High School and Brett Roberts from White Mountain Regional High School.
"The LRH Auxiliary is comprised of more than 100 ladies and gentlemen who volunteer to raise funds that support Littleton Regional Healthcare, states Cindy Mitchell, President of the LRH Auxiliary. In addition to scholarships the Auxiliary provides clothing for patients after being treated in the emergency room, we support the LRH Care-A-Van and North Country Women's Health Conference; we provide diaper bags for new parents, books for pediatric patients, and annual support to the LRH Charitable Foundation and LRH Family Support Team.
