LRH offers a fall wellness fair in October and will now offer a spring wellness fair in April to continue to provide free healthcare for the region we serve. This year LRH received a grant from the DHMC and CHAD Injury Prevention Program of 40 children's bike helmets. Families were encouraged to attend with their children to receive a free bike safety check provided by Executive Director, Thomas Shovlin and volunteer Marc Micciche from Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country. Chief Paul Smith of Littleton Police Department was present to provide safety information for the families who participated. More than 20 helmets were given out at the event. LRH plans to share the remaining helmets with pediatric patients presenting in the emergency department or at North Country Pediatrics.

Participating non-profit agencies and local businesses included the LRH Volunteer Recruitment and Family Support Team, LRH Auxiliary, Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country, Tender Corporation, Badger®, North Country Pharmacy, State Farm, NH Department of Health and Human Services, Ammonoosuc Community Health Services, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, North Country Health Consortium, New Hampshire Healthy Families, Weeks Medical Center Fresh Start Tobacco Prevention, Isagenix, Margaret Pratt Community, Homeland Security & Emergency Management - NH Department of Safety, Littleton Lion's Club, Respitality, Pathways Pregnancy Care Center, RSVP Volunteer Center, Berlin Vet Center, Children's Dentistry of the North Country, Littleton Area Senior Center & Meals on Wheels, Restorative Health Therapies, North Country Home Health & Hospice, LRH Sauter Birthing Center - Car Seat Safety and DHMC Injury Prevention Program.
