LRH Auxiliary Presents a Diaper Bag to New Parents
March 10, 2015
Littleton, NH - New parents Kristina and Justin Bishop with their newborn son, Cael Evan Bishop received a special gift from the Littleton Regional Healthcare Auxiliary president, Cindy Mitchell. The LRH Auxiliary raises money primarily through the Moose Ledge Gift Shop, but also through a number of smaller fundraisers throughout the year. Monies raised support a number of hospital activities and initiatives including college scholarships for area high school students, and LRH staff who are working towards furthering their healthcare careers; clothing to the emergency department and other areas of the hospitals where patients may need a change following an accident or unexpected procedure; support of the Care-A-Van transportation for patients; support of the North Country Women's Health Conference and several other programs and services at LRH.
This year the LRH Auxiliary Board voted to approve purchasing diaper bags that include a smaller cooler bag for holding bottles and other important items. The bags are presented to new moms and dads at LRH.
The LRH Auxiliary has been supporting LRH and its programs and services for more than 100 years. Their dedication to raising funds to support many departments at LRH is greatly appreciated by the LRH family. The Auxiliary welcomes new members.
