Littleton, NH - Representatives from the Burch House, Joan Eaton and Nicolle Slattery, collect food and necessity donations from Littleton Regional Healthcare. LRH hosted a food and necessity drive in December to support the Burch House. The Burch House provides support and emergency shelter to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual assault and violence. The services cover 19 towns in northern Grafton County. The Burch House is a volunteer supported agency.
Every year during the holiday season LRH participates in community efforts to assist those in need. This year LRH participated in the Caring Tree project with Ammonoosuc Community Health Services and several businesses in Littleton and surrounding towns. More than 400 children received gifts at Christmas because of this initiative. LRH also provided hats and mittens to the Boys & Girls Club in Lisbon, and in January they will host a food drive to support the Littleton Food Bank.
Nick Braccino, President at LRH states, "As the largest employer in Littleton, we feel it is our responsibility to do all we can to help those in need. The staff at LRH embraces these activities and work very hard to make sure they are successful for each agency we support. It's our way of giving back to the communities we serve."
