North Country Home Health and Hospice Responds to the City of Berlin Home Health Closure
February 16, 2017
The North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency (NCHHHA) is pleased to announce they are working with the City of Berlin Health Dept. (BHD) to transition patients that choose NCHHA as their homecare provider. The primary goal of both North Country HHA and BHD is to preserve patient care and community outreach to patients in need of home health and hospice services. NCHHA provides home health, hospice and supportive services to residents in northern Grafton County and Coos Country New Hampshire. The decision to cease patient care services by the City of Berlin Health Department was due in part to increasing information technology costs associated with patient care. The required infrastructure is already in place at North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency.
The North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency is now the newest entity under the operating authority of North Country Healthcare. North Country Healthcare is also the parent company to Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Littleton Regional Healthcare, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital and Weeks Medical Center. The Board of North Country Healthcare is made up of representatives from the North Country including four members from the Berlin area.
