Littleton Regional Healthcare Recognizes National Donor Day

Littleton, NH – February 14, 2020 is National Donor Day. This national recognition day is designed to increase awareness about the lifesaving benefits of organ, eye, tissue and blood donations. It is important to discuss organ donation with your loved ones. Making this heroic decision in advance provides ease for your family during a difficult time. More than 113,000 people are waiting for a life-saving donation and approximately every two seconds there is someone who needs blood in the United States. Want to help? You can offer the gift of love by joining Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH) on Friday, February 14, 2020 for an American Red Cross Blood Drive. The blood drive is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the LRH Conference Center.

To be able to donate blood, you must be in good general health, be at least 17-years old, and weigh at least 110 pounds. For more general information about giving blood, visit the American Red Cross website at redcrossblood.org. Appointments to participate in the blood drive can be made by calling 1-800-RED CROSS or by visiting redcrossblood.org. The LRH Sponsor code is LITTLETONREGIONAL.
