Please note that this center is not an Emergency Department and does not provide emergency services. Therefore, it is not a suitable substitute when emergency medical care is needed.
When to seek the Emergency Department:
If there is immediate danger to life or limb or no other option is available, the Emergency Department is the most appropriate care setting.
Symptoms requiring the Emergency Department include, but are not limited to:
- Chest pain
- Numbness
- Speech impairment or any other stroke-like symptoms
- Severe abdominal pain
- Multiple injuries
- Severe burns
- Shortness of breath or respiratory distress
- Faintness/passing out
- Persistent vomiting
- Any signs of active labor or pregnancy complications
- Other physical symptoms that come on strongly or suddenly
Always call 9-1-1 if you are suffering from crushing chest pain, violent injury, heavy or uncontrollable bleeding, or the inability to safely drive yourself to the Emergency Department.
