Littleton Regional Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra Van Gundy, BS, EdD, RN, CPHQ, as its Senior Director of Quality Services. Sandra brings over 30 years of healthcare system and academic experience, focusing on strategic growth, patient advocacy, and clinical leadership.
In previous roles, Sandra oversaw patient safety and experience, risk management, corporate and clinical compliance, and infection control. She also brings years of experience in strategic governance, performance and process improvement, and education innovation. Sandra most recently held the position of Director of Quality, Risk, Compliance, and Patient Experience at Mass General Brigham’s Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
The Quality Services Department at Littleton Regional Healthcare is responsible for oversight and execution of patient safety, quality, patient experience, risk management, clinical compliance programs, coordinating and responding to patient feedback, liaising with regulatory bodies, and playing a major role in policy development.
In her role as Senior Director, Sandra will oversee the department team members who collectively coordinate all of the aforementioned functions and many other activities instrumental to the operations at LRH.

Van Gundy expressed her eagerness to build on LRH’s existing foundation while integrating her value-based care delivery models.
