LRH Volunteer Department Recruiting Additional Volunteers

Home » News

Littleton, NH -Littleton Regional Healthcare is currently recruiting senior volunteers. LRH currently has a large and vibrant group of volunteers, but there are always areas in need. Volunteers at LRH improve the patient and family experience with their outstanding customer service skills and understanding.

Research shows that volunteering just three hours a week is a wonderful way to keep healthy. Feeling needed and helping others is a great way to give back to your community.

LRH is currently looking for men and women who can volunteer for three hours once or twice a week. New volunteers get to choose the day and time that best fits their schedule. LRH provides training to all new volunteers.

Volunteering opportunities that are especially needed at the moment include greeting patients and visitors at one of our six volunteer desks located throughout the hospital and medical office building. They include the front desk, lower atrium, medical office building, same day surgery, upper atrium, and roaming volunteers. The Moose Ledge Gift Shop – run by the LRH Auxiliary – is also looking for new volunteers to staff the shop located in the hospital.

Volunteering at LRH offers you the opportunity to make new friends while helping patients and their families navigate throughout the hospital and medical office building. If you have been thinking about volunteering at Littleton Regional Healthcare, this is the perfect time to call and find out more about the program.
