Join us in recognizing our most recent recipient of The DAISY Award – Emily DuPont, MSN, RN!
Emily was nominated by local resident and long-time LRH volunteer, Chick Jordan, for the compassionate care Emily provided to her husband, Steve. Following Steve’s recent diabetes diagnosis, he was referred to Emily, our Diabetes Educator.
Emily was timely in following up to schedule the appointment once she received the referral, which immediately impressed Chick. During the first visit, Emily was thorough, patient, and attentive. Chick noted how comfortable Emily made both her and Steve feel. Chick considered the interaction with Emily one of the best experiences she’s had while receiving care at LRH.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Chick, and for going out of your way to nominate Emily for this honor. Emily has been a tremendous addition to LRH since joining us last year. Anyone who has the opportunity to interact with her knows how kind and passionate she is.
