Please join us in celebrating our most recent DAISY Award Honoree – Jillian (Jill) Rooney, RN! 
Not surprisingly, Jill received several nominations for the award over the last several months. In the one chosen for the award presentation, new parents Jennie and Erik Dynan told the story of their daughter’s birth last November and Jill’s role in their care. Jennie and baby Norah were available for the award presentation, making it even more special.
In the nomination, Erik and Jennie called Jill their “birthing North Star” and detailed her professional, honest, humorous, experienced, and patient nature. They explained how eager she was to lend a helping hand and go above and beyond with her effortless, calming, and reassuring demeanor. Erik even joked about how Jill would walk away from a meal to humor a new dad in over his head or to answer if the sleep sack was too tight for the third time.
Jill, we know many can attest to how amazing you are at what you do and what a pleasure it is to work alongside you. We are very fortunate to have you as part of our labor and delivery team here at LRH. Congratulations on this much-deserved recognition!
