Last week, our Nursing Professional Practice Council pulled off the ultimate surprise by presenting Kimberly Force, Senior Director of Nursing, with the DAISY Nurse Leader Award! Kim is always at the epicenter of celebrating others for the good things they do. She is a true champion of professional development and employee recognition, creating an environment built on trust, compassion, and mutual respect.
Kim exemplifies the true spirit of leadership. She fosters a culture where every team member feels valued and supported, while consistently being responsive to the needs of others and actively modeling and promoting collaboration. In times of challenge, Kim leads by example, skillfully problem-solving and encouraging critical thinking to address complex issues. She inspires staff to grow in their professional practice while ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
