Please join us in celebrating our most recent DAISY Award Honoree – Tara Roy, RN!
In May, Nursing Leadership and members of Administration gathered to recognize Tara and present her with her award. The nomination received from a recent patient explained how Tara was a calming and supportive presence during the patient’s labor and delivery of her first child late last year.
The patient wrote about how Tara created a safe and comfortable environment despite the intense and painful labor. Tara helped calm the patient’s nerves and make informed, clear decisions by advocating for her needs. Tara even extended her shift to ensure the patient was recovering and doing well after delivery.
In the words of the patient: “Being a nurse is Tara’s calling. If anyone deserves this recognition, it is her.” We couldn’t agree more and it is with great pleasure that we name Tara as our newest DAISY Award honoree.
