With great joy, we announce Amaya Rose Gooden was born on January 3, 2024, at 1:43 in the morning. Weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length, Amaya
was the first baby born in our Sauter Birthing Suite in the New Year. Dr. Eric Siegel, MD, MBA, FACOG, was the physician who attended to Amaya’s delivery with the assistance of our obstetric nursing staff.
The LRH Auxiliary presented Amaya’s parents, Hailee Collins and Michael Gooden, with a basket of items to take home before discharge. The gift for the first baby born is a tradition the LRH Auxiliary looks forward to every year.
