LRH’s First Baby of 2025

With great joy, Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH) announced Kody Micheal Sprano was born on January 1, 2025, at 4:46 in the afternoon. Weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 21 inches in length, Kody was the first baby born in LRH’s Sauter Birthing Suite in the New Year. Dr. Nicholas Marks, MD, FACOG, was the physician who attended to Kody’s delivery with the assistance of the obstetric nursing staff.

The LRH Auxiliary presented Kody’s parents, Amanda Fleury and James Sprano, with a basket of items to take home before discharge. The gift for the first baby born is a tradition the LRH Auxiliary looks forward to every year.

Koren Superchi, RN, MSN, FACHE, LRH’s Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer, who is also a long-time member of the LRH Auxiliary, was joined by Tara Roy, a Registered Nurse of LRH’s Sauter Birthing Suite, to present the family, including Kody’s two proud older brothers, with the gift.

Littleton Regional Healthcare’s Sauter Birthing Suite welcomes, on average, a baby per day.
