Join us in recognizing the most recent recipient of The BEE Award – Pam Kinne of our Laboratory! 
The BEE Award for Exceptional Caregivers was established in April 2023 to complement our DAISY Award. Standing for Being Extraordinary Every day, any care team member can be nominated for and receive The BEE Award. Both the DAISY and BEE Awards are presented quarterly, and nominations are accepted from patients, community members, and LRH personnel.
We’re proud to recognize Pam for the exceptional care she provided to a young patient and his mother. During a blood draw for the 18-month-old, Pam’s clinical expertise and calm presence made all the difference. She carefully assessed the best approach, successfully completed the draw, and offered reassurance every step of the way to both the child and his mother. She even went out of her way to follow up with a kind gesture that left a lasting impression on the family.
In the mother’s nomination, she stated, “As I drove home, I realized that healthcare workers like Pam are exactly what patients and families need. She is someone who doesn’t simply come to work for a paycheck…she genuinely cares about the people she serves.”
Pam exemplifies what it means to go above and beyond, delivering not just skilled care, but genuine empathy that patients and families will never forget. We’re lucky to have her here at LRH! Congratulations to you, Pam, on this much-deserved recognition!
