Littleton, NH – Littleton Regional Healthcare hosted its 25th Annual Dr. Moose Golf Tournament. This year the event was held virtually with no actual outdoor tournament due to COVID-19. Despite not having a live event, LRH raised $30,400 due to the generosity of previous sponsors and players. Sponsors were automatically entered in a spectacular raffle with winners announced on a weekly basis. Proceeds will support the LRH Covid-19 Relief Fund.
Littleton Regional Healthcare decided to cancel this year’s live event due to the number of players that participate annually as it would pose a problem with restrictive social distancing for pre and post tournament activities.

According to Gail Clark, Director of Marketing and Community Relations, “It was a difficult decision to cancel the tournament, but we felt it was necessary due to COVID-19. The safety of our sponsors, players and staff is very important to us and we did not want to put anyone at risk. The virtual event exceeded our fundraising goal. We really had no idea what to expect but were extremely pleased with the $30,400 net income from the event. This demonstrates the loyalty of our annual sponsors and players who have been with us for so many years. We are hopeful we will be able to host a live event in 2021.”For information related to the 2021 LRH Dr. Moose Golf Tournament, please email gclark@lrhcares.org.
