LITTLETON – Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH) partnered with the Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce to “Light Up the Night” in honor of local frontline healthcare workers and first responders. On Thursday, April 16th, local law enforcement and other emergency response agencies participated in a display of support by circling the Littleton Regional Healthcare campus in over 39 emergency vehicles.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19, healthcare workers have been working tirelessly to care for the public in many ways. From prevention education to screening measures and continuing to care for those who are ill, healthcare workers have demonstrated their dedication and determination while leading the community through this health emergency.
The event, along with an outpouring of donations, has provided LRH staff with reassurance that the community fully supports and appreciates their efforts. LRH also wants to express their appreciation to those continuing to work during this time. Robert Nutter, President & CEO stated, “We are grateful for all of the support from individuals and businesses from the Littleton community and surrounding towns. It is a joint effort to keep the community safe, supplied, and healthy. This is a difficult time, but we will get through this together.”
