The Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH) Auxiliary is delighted to announce the awarding of $20,000 in scholarships to deserving local graduating seniors and dedicated LRH employees. The presentation ceremony took place on Thursday, June 13th to celebrate the achievements and aspirations of those pursuing careers in healthcare.
This year, the Auxiliary awarded scholarships to eight local graduating seniors and ten LRH employees who are continuing their education in the healthcare field. Each recipient has demonstrated exceptional dedication and a strong commitment to serving our community through their chosen healthcare careers.
Two $1,000 awards were given in memory of long-time LRH Auxiliary members and LRH employees, Cindy Mitchell and Carlene Whitcomb, honoring their legacy and contributions to the field of healthcare, LRH, and the communities it serves.
The LRH Auxiliary’s primary fundraiser, the Moose Ledge Gift Shop, plays a crucial role in making these scholarships possible. Through the tireless efforts of the volunteers and the generous support of the community, the gift shop continues to provide essential funding for the LRHA scholarship program.
“We are incredibly proud of all our scholarship recipients and grateful to our gift shop volunteers for their unwavering support,” said Claire Mei, Co-President of the LRH Auxiliary. “These scholarships are an investment in the future of healthcare, and we are excited to see the positive impact these individuals will have on our community.”
The Littleton Regional Healthcare Auxiliary is committed to supporting LRH through fundraising efforts, educational events, and service projects. Since 1907, the LRH Auxiliary has worked to support a positive healthcare experience for the region and the patients served by LRH.
